6 Conclusion and Outlook

Chapter 2 identified the relationship as the central factor and defined its structure: an uncontrollable, inter-bodily resonance. Chapter 3 demonstrated what, where and how Gestalt therapy heals: through the body, through the field between the participants, and through the here and now. Chapter 4 explained why AI fails precisely in this respect: it has no body, no ‘I’, and can therefore not be a ’you’. Chapter 5 highlighted the practical implication: AI is useful as a tool, but becomes dangerous as soon as it is misunderstood as a relationship. The following conclusion answers the three research questions on this basis.
